CCPA Notice
For California residents · Last updated 1 October 2026
1. Who this applies to
The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 ("CCPA"), as amended by the CPRA, gives California residents specific rights regarding their personal information. To the extent the CCPA applies to Fynqcast, this notice supplements our Privacy Policy for users located in California.
2. Information we collect
- Identifiers — email address, IP address, account ID
- Voice recordings and derived voice profiles — voice samples you explicitly upload are personal information. Biometric information processed for the purpose of uniquely identifying a consumer may constitute sensitive personal information under CPRA; Fynqcast applies heightened safeguards to voice data
- Commercial information — subscription history, payment status (no card numbers; processed by Stripe)
- Usage data — episodes generated, voices used, language preferences
3. Your rights
As a California resident you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
- Delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions — you can start account closure from Settings or send a request to the email address below; some data (for example voice profiles) may need to be deleted through a dedicated deletion process first
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Limit use of your sensitive personal information, where applicable — you can revoke a voice profile at any time
- Opt-out of sale or sharing — Fynqcast does not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. The opt-out is therefore moot, but you may still file a request to be informed in writing.
- Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any CCPA right
4. How to exercise your rights
Send a request to:
We respond within 45 days as required by CCPA. We may need to verify your identity before processing the request.
5. Authorised agents
You may designate an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf. The agent must provide written permission and we may require the consumer to verify their own identity directly.
