Multilingual Voiceover for Marketing Agencies

Fynqcast editorial team6 min read

An agency rarely delivers just one audio file. A single campaign needs the 30-second and the 15-second ad, the voiceover for the product video, cut-downs for social and often the same versions in other languages. Every revision round multiplies the files to redo, and booking a multilingual voiceover for each change takes days. Fynqcast brings the journey from brief to script, versions and audio files into one workflow.

What you can do with Fynqcast

  • Spot & Ads, from 15 to 120 seconds. The brief goes into the right fields: brand name, product or service, main message, offer, call to action, contact and channel (radio, streaming, social media, in-store, phone on-hold message, podcast, event). The brand name is always written exactly as you enter it, and you can say how it is pronounced: that is only a hint for the voice and never ends up in the text. At the Advanced level you add tone, creative format, words and phrases that must appear, words to avoid and the legal disclaimer, read word for word at the end.
  • Shorts & Social, from 15 to 180 seconds: topic, type of hook and call to action; at the Advanced level the exact opening hook, style, pace and mandatory words.
  • Voiceover, from 15 seconds to 60 minutes, for videos, presentations, announcements, phone messages and readings.
  • Translate and read, to turn the approved script into another language with a mandatory glossary, proper names to keep unchanged, words not to translate, a formal or informal register and notes for the translation. Audio is available in eight languages: English, Italian, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese and Arabic.
  • One or two stock voices, with a listening sample. You can give the voice an emotion.
  • Delivery files: MP3, or WAV or M4A, plus SRT subtitles. The production title becomes the file name.

How it works: from brief to sign-off

  1. Brief. In the Studio tab, choose the category and level, then copy the client's brief into the fields.
  2. Script. Create with AI gives you a first draft from the brief. If the client already approved a script, paste it or upload a PDF, DOCX or TXT file: it is read exactly as written.
  3. Versions. Create one production per version, each with its own length, language and voices. Other languages start from the master with Translate and read: the translated text comes back to you, and a native speaker checks it before you move on.
  4. Approval. You can rewrite a single part by saying how it should change. The text must be approved before anything is generated, which is the right moment for the client's written sign-off. Fynqcast has no client approval area: you run the review rounds yourself.
  5. Delivery. Give each production the version code as its title, using unaccented letters, numbers and hyphens, then download the audio and subtitles.

An example: the Valcerro Bakery campaign

The client is fictional: Valcerro Bakery, four shops, is launching online orders with in-store pickup.

Excerpt from the master, VALCERRO-30-EN:

Valcerro bread comes out of the oven at six. From today, order it online the night before and pick it up whenever you like, no queue. Loaves, focaccia, biscuits: choose on our website, collect in store. Valcerro Bakery. Your bread is waiting.

In the brief, "Valcerro Bakery. Your bread is waiting." goes into the phrases that must appear. In the glossary for the Spanish version, "Valcerro" is a name to keep unchanged and the slogan is adapted, with a separate client approval.

Cloned voices, plainly explained

On Fynqcast a cloned voice can only be the account holder's own. To create one you must be an adult, hold an identity document issued by an EU member state, pass the identity verification and give your consent. From the agency's account you cannot clone the voice of a voice actor or a client, not even with their written consent. If the client's owner should speak in the ad, they can clone their own voice from their own account, choosing the languages it may speak. Every audio with a cloned voice opens with the spoken notice "Voice cloned with AI.", which is noticeable in a short ad, so client campaigns are usually made with stock voices.

Who it's for

  • Marketing, communications and social media agencies producing many versions for the same clients.
  • Creative studios and freelancers delivering voiceovers for videos, presentations and announcements.
  • In-house marketing teams working across markets in several languages.

What you gain: one workflow from brief to file, brand name, mandatory phrases and legal disclaimer unchanged in every version, and no audio from an unapproved text.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use scripts the client has already written and approved? Yes. Paste them or upload a PDF, DOCX or TXT file: they are read exactly as written, by one voice. Two voices are available when the text is created with Create with AI.

Could the brand name be translated or mispronounced? In Spot & Ads the brand name is written exactly as you enter it, and the pronunciation you give only guides the voice. In translations, add it to the proper names to keep unchanged.

Do we need to disclose that the voice is AI-generated? The EU AI Act sets transparency obligations for some AI-generated content. Agree with your client and your legal adviser how to disclose it, and check in advance the rules of the broadcaster or platform the campaign will run on. Third-party texts or slogans require the relevant rights.
